We are living in the last of the last days. We are living, I believe, in the last minutes of the last hours of the last day. I believe it is seconds to midnight. What we must do, we must do very quickly because there is very little time left. I don't want to disillusion anybody, but I do want to tell you the truth, and the truth is what the Bible teaches. Things will get worse in the world and not better, prior to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are some people who teach that things will gradually improve to the point that all Jesus will need to do is come and take over a perfect society. Such is not the teachings of God's Holy Word. Things will get worse and worse and worse. There will be wars, quakes and pestilence. There will be an increase of crime. There will be an increase of wickedness and lawlessness, such as the world has never known before. This is what the Bible teaches. And this is what we are seeing with our very own eyes, today.
Jesus taught that the tares and the wheat must grow together. He taught that He would not pull out the tares until it had reached ripeness. When the Great International Harvester comes, He will reap, He will cut down the tares with the wheat. Wickedness must increase. Lawlessness will increase. It will reach maturity and ripeness, an all-time high. But praise God, righteousness will also increase among the true people of God. It will reach an all-time high.
In Mark 16:15 we are told to go into all the world and to preach the Gospel to every creature. It does not say that all will receive. it does not say that all will believe. But it does tell us those who do believe, and are baptized will be saved.
In the last days of time God is calling us together as never before. He is binding us together in the Spirit. He is blending men, women and children from all nations in the world. He will make them one new nation, one holy people, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a particular people that will show forth the world His praise, that will declare the marvels of our deliverance from darkness into light.
Let us pray:
For every reader that reads this sermon we pray Lord, that he/she wants to be delivered from darkness and deeply desires to walk in the light with You Lord.
Yes, I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and arose from the dead, and is alive and well at this very moment at the right hand of the Father. Yes, I want Jesus to come into my heart, right now and take over my life. I am His forever and ever. Amen
If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Please write or tell someone. Ready your Bible daily and study His Word. Don't let the devil sell you his bill of goods any more! As you read the Scriptures you can say to Satan, as did Jesus.. "IT IS WRITTEN....."
