You will look down on the night and the storms from above, with the Master of Masters.
Then it will be morning forever-no more hard knocks!

Look at the bricks: Listen to the life story of just one of those bricks.
At one time it was clay out in some countryside. It was doing fine and not
bothering anyone.

Some men came along and dug it up. They hauled it into a strange city.
There it was put into a furnace of fire. It was roasted and roasted. It
felt like saying, "Why am I roasted and roasted?"

Then it was taken out and cut into shape. The it was put back into another
furnace and roasted some more.

Now it is doing some good. It is of value. It is helping protect someone
and keeping them warm. It is of more value than it use to be.

Have you ever felt taken away to some strange land? Have you been put into
the furnace and roasted? Have you been cut into shape? Have you ever prayed,
"Lord let me be used in your service?" He will use you in His building as soon
as you go through the furnace and become ready.

If a brick is brought out of the fire too soon, they are not done. As soon as they
are removed from the furnace when they are not done, the are too soft, and a thrown
into the junk pile. They are ground to pieces and sent back through the same fire again.

I've seen some people who the Lord had put in the furnace to prepare them for a
certain place in His building. They flunked the test and had to be ground into pieces
and sent back through the fire again.

Look at the diamond:
The diamond was at one time a crude chunk of coal which had to go through the
school of hard knocks. Over a period of years, it changed. One day it was mined out
of the ground, a diamond in the rough.

We are all diamonds in the rough. We have to go through the cutting machine.

The Lord has a purpose in your life. Don't be thrown in the junk pile. Don't
flunk the test.

A Great Shaking:
As Ezekiel prophesied, the wind began to blow. There was a great shaking. Each bone
came to it's place. A great army stood up. So as the shaking takes place, we are
all going to find our place, according to our qualifications.

Promotion does not come from the north or south, but it comes from the Lord.

It is left to us to remain little in the Lord and go to the bottom, or grow big in
the Lord and come to the top. Each one of us decides our own destiny.

The more you are shaken around on the journey, the sooner, you will come to the top.

It is the shaking of the barrel that makes the large peanuts come to the top.

Some people sit and wait for their ship to come in. They say, "Just wait until I run
for Congress. I'll change things." They sit and wait all their lives. You will never
rule others until you learn to rule yourself.

They want to get into Congress and pass laws to overturn the peanut barrel. If they
did that, the big peanut will still come to the top and the little ones would shake
to the bottom. It doesn't matter which way the barrel is turned. You see, you are
traveling a rocky road. There is alot of shaking going on.

True greatness is to go to the top
We do not go to the top by money, votes, houses, lands, pounds, or inches. We go from
gloom to happiness, from filthiness to purity, from selfishness to unselfishness,
from weakness to strength, from hate to love, from ignorance to understanding, from
fear to faith, from foolishness to wisdom, from vision to vision, from ideals to
high ideals, and nothing to something.

True greatness is on the inside and not on the outside.

Jesus gave us a true definition of greatness; "Whosoever will be great among you,
let him be your minister; and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant."
Mark 10:42-44

We achieve greatness by serving.

God's schooling:
It took forty years for Moses to get prepared in the God's school. He first learned to
lead sheep on the back side of a hot desert land. Then he was prepared to lead a few
million people and bring a nation out of bondage.

Paul was about three years on the desert before he was used of God. David went through
many years of preparation. Saul was seeking his life. He came forth with the Spirit of
Christ and reigned on the throne. He had more than book learning. He could help people
because he had experienced the same problems they had.

Someday you will receive that last big bump. You will reach the final mountain top above
all the clouds forever.

You will look down on the night and the storms from above, with the Master of Masters.
Then it will be morning forever-no more hard knocks!

Mark 10
42   But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule
over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
43   But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
44   And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

Revelation 1
1   The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must
shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
